Lightning All-Stars go down to Wildcats

The Lakeside Lightning All-Stars are locked in a three game series with the Perth Wildcats for a pre-season NBL tournament.

Game One was held in Waroona on Tuesday night where the Lightning All-Stars went down 100-95 in a game that featured 14 lead changes.

The man of the hour was young NBA star Anthony Tolliver who recently signed a $4.5 million deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He didn't disappoint, finishing with 22 points and 11 rebounds against the Wildcats Championship line-up.

The game featured several SBL players for the Wildcats with Joel Wagner (Redbacks), Greg Hire (Wolves) and Jarrod Balcombe (Eagles), all of whom received court time.
