Hire signs for Wildcats (Joondalup Weekender)
WANNEROO Wolves captain Greg Hire has been signed by the Perth Wildcats as one of three development players.
The Wildcats confirmed that Hire, Joel Wagner (Perth) and Jarrod Balcombe (East Perth) would join the club for the 2010-11 season.
Hire will play a pre-season match at Joondalup Basketball Stadium this weekend and said pulling on a Wildcats shirt fulfils a lifelong NBL dream.
“To be able to play in front of a home crowd will be amazing,” he said.
