Giants recruit Rosinski
Goldfields Giants management yesterday confirmed American combo guard Matt Rosinski as the club’s second import for the 2011 State Basketball League season.
At 188cm, or six-foot-two in the old scale, Rosinski, 23, has just completed his final year at Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Regis University competes in the strong RMAC conference, which in the past has also featured former Giants players Brent Hobba, Ash Cannan and Lance Goedell.
Rosinski was the ninth-highest scorer in the nation (NCAA Division 2) in his final year and has earned Allstars selection twice in his college career.
