SBL Seeking Writers/Contributors for 2011 Season

If you are a dedicated SBL fan, journalism student, or just interested in basketball/media we want you join us for the 2011 State Basketball League (SBL) season.

The SBL continues to place a strong emphasis on improving its online and general media presence. In continuing this focus for 2011, we are seeking interested parties to contribute to the SBL website and help grow our media profile.

Duties would involve:

  • Attending games
  • Writing game reports
  • Contributing feature articles from time to time
  • Completing interviews for stories

All SBL writers will receive full SBL Media Accreditation to attend any game during the season.

This role will be well suited to passionate followers of the SBL or students wishing to gain valuable writing experience.

Anyone who is interested in taking up one of these exciting roles should contact Christian Rice at Basketball WA on 6272 0744 or email christian.rice@basketballwa.asn.au.

Previous examples of work may be required.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
