Cedric Crawford to face SBL Tribunal

The State Basketball League has announced that Kalamunda Eastern Suns player Cedric Crawford will face the SBL Tribunal this week on a charge of striking arising from an alleged incident in his team’s 122-88 loss to the Wanneroo Wolves on Sunday afternoon.

Crawford was reported by the match officials for allegedly striking Wanneroo Wolves player John Vaudreuil late in the fourth quarter of the match at the Ray Owen Sports Centre.

Under SBL rules, all reports received by match officials are automatically referred to the Basketball WA Tribunal.

The hearing will be held on Wednesday 20 April by the Basketball WA Tribunal.

The result of the hearing will be released on Thursday morning.
