Round 11 WSBL Power Rankings

1. Southlands Boulevarde Willetton Tigers (1st place, 12-1 record) - Amazingly, the league leaders have their second consecutive bye in round 12. By the time they next play, against Perth on June 10, it will have been 20 days since their previous game.

2. Mandurah Magic (3rd, 8-3) - Face a tough test coming off the bye against a Kalamunda side which will be desperate to get back into form. But the Magic have been impressive in recent weeks and should continue their good run.

3. Total Connections Perry Lakes Hawks (2nd, 11-3) - Cruised to victory with impressive performances against Lakeside and Rockingham over the weekend and have the chance to work on a few things while they have the bye this weekend.

4. Glasscraft Wanneroo Wolves (4th, 9-5) - Have responded in positive fashion to the criticism they faced a couple of weeks ago and are back on track after three straight wins. Cockburn could be a good test this weekend though.

5. Australian Central East Perth Eagles (6th, 7-5) - Have put together a decent run with victories in three of their last four and are looking good. But it will be tough for them to make the top four if they lose at Cockburn on Friday.

6. Metropolis Fremantle Cockburn Cougars (5th, 8-5) - The Cougars are definitely more consistent than East Perth, but the Eagles get the edge because they've shown they can beat the best. Still the Cougars have a good chance to make the top four, especially if they beat Wanneroo on Saturday.

7. Kalamunda Eastern Suns (7th, 7-6) - The Suns have been up and down throughout the season and they appear to be down at the moment, having lost their last two. Need to get back into form with a win against the Magic, but it will be difficult.

8. Perth Redbacks (8th, 5-7) - The thought of last year's semi-finalists missing the finals seemed unrealistic for most of the season, but if they lose to the Senators on Saturday they'll be out of the eight. Need to get much more from their back court to turn around their disappointing form.

9. Western Stainless Stirling Senators (9th, 5-8) - A two-point win over Rockingham and 13-point triumph against the Slammers may not be the most convincing results ever, but it was enough to get back into finals contention. Still need to be much more consistent to make the eight.

10. Lakeside Lightning (10th, 3-9) - A pair of losses put a massive dent in Lakeside's already slim finals hopes and they'll need a miracle to make the eight from here. The Lightning still have a decent team on paper, but it is yet to come together for them this season.

11. Rockingham Flames (12th, 1-13) - The Flames were gallant in defeat against the Senators on Friday and it seems a second win for the season might not be too far away.

12. Southwest Slammers (11th, 1-12) - When the Slammers won their first game of the season, there was reason to believe they would perform better than their one-win campaign last year. After 12 straight losses, that seems highly improbable.
