Week Thirteen PowerPlayers of the Week

Perth Wildcats forward Matt Knight has claimed the Week Thirteen PowerPlayer of the Week award after leading his Tigers to two thrilling victories to keep them in touch with the top four.

Knight claims the honours, and the $50 voucher to PowerPlay Sports, over his team mate Robert Kampman who also had a solid weekend for the Tigers.

The Wildcats star averaged 28 points, 14 rebounds and 3.5 assists as his side defeated Perth by six points on Friday and backed up with a thrilling over-time win over Stirling on Saturday.

Team mate and Runner-Up Kampman was impressive, averaging 34 points, 6 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

In the Women’s competition Mandurah Magic veteran Casey Mihovilovich claims her third PowerPlayer award after guiding her side to another undefeated weekend.

The star guard claims the award over West Coast Waves forward Michelle Joy who was a standout in her sides 0-2 weekend.

Mihovilovich dominated for the Magic with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists against the Senators on Friday and then backed up against the Lightning on Saturday with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists.

20 year old Joy continued her solid form averaging 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2.5 assists but lacked support as her side lost to Mandurah and Willetton.
