The State Basketball League has released the quarter finals schedule for both Women’s and Men’s series which will be run over the next two weekends as a “best of three” series. The fixtures can be viewed in the "Fixtures & Results" page of our website.

Both competitions will see four three game series with game one of each of the series to be played this weekend while games two, and if necessary, three will be played the following weekend.

“We saw one of the tightest finishes on record in the Men’s draw with a four way tie for positions 5-8” said Competitions Manager Christian Rice.

“Three teams involved in the four way tie had over-time games on the last night of the season, we can’t ask for much more than that.”

The league now looks forward to eight exciting series that will determine who will move to the Semi-Finals that will be played over August 12/13 and August 19/20/21.

Tickets for all quarter finals games are available through the door at each stadium, for further details contact the host association.

In other news, tickets for the 2011 Grand Finals go on sale at 9:00am on Friday 29 July through Ticketmaster. Tickets are $24 (adults), $18 (children) and $65 (families of 2 adults and 2 children).

Basketball WA also has “Championship Experience” packages available that include premium seating, entry to the pre-game cocktail function (drinks included) and a parking pass per booking. The package is $60 per ticket and can be purchased by calling Basketball WA on 6272 0741.

Both games will be at the WA Basketball Centre at 7:30pm with the Women on Friday 26 August and the Men on Saturday 27 August.
