Men's Grand Final ticket sales going strong
After just five days of general public sales, Basketball WA has already sold 500 tickets to the Men’s SBL Grand Final with still three and a half weeks until the big game on Saturday 27 August.
There are only 1,400 seats available at the WA Basketball Centre for general public sale with a number of additional seats reserved for the Grand Final teams fans and Basketball WA VIPs.
“We have sold 35% of our tickets with three week of finals remaining, that is a great indication that the interest is strong” said Competitions Manager Christian Rice.
“Our Championship Experience corporate tickets continue to sell well and we expect to see a lot more of these packages sold before the Tuesday 23 August deadline.”
Last year the Men’s SBL Grand Final was under 50 tickets away from a sell out in the 2,000 seat venue with fans treated to a thrilling game between Willetton and Lakeside.
“We are working hard to ensure that it will be a great night of entertainment for all of the fans that attend both the Women’s and Men’s games.”
General tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster either at outlets, online at ticketmaster.com.au or over the phone by calling 1300 136 122.
Championship Experience packages include premium seating, entry to the pre-game cocktail function and a free parking pass. They are just $60 and can be purchased through the Basketball WA office.
Tickets are also available for the Women’s Grand Final on Friday 26 August, also to be held at the WA Basketball Centre in Mt Claremont.
