Forde looking for long-term success at helm of Eagles

Newly appointed Australian Central East Perth Eagles Mens SBL Head Coach, Adam Forde is set to begin his tenure with the Eagles later this month when he opens the doors to prospective players for the upcoming season.

With a key focus of development and building sustainable long term success for the Morley based outfit, Coach Adam Forde is inviting players looking to improve and develop their game to help him contribute to the Eagles future success.

"I'm after athletes who not only have a commitment to their own individual development, but are also looking to really contribute to the long term future success of East Perth. For me it's about a culture of We not Me, and players really need to adopt this as not only the mentality but a way of basketball life when you put on the East Perth logo."

The Eagles are set to begin their preseason trials on Wednesday the 23rd of November with a scheduled open trial at Chisolm College, located in Beaufort Street, Bedford. The trial is set to commence at 6pm and conclude at 8pm. During this time, Coach Adam Forde is set to cast his eyes on the talent that he hopes can help the team's Championship aspirations closer than the eighth place finish in 2011.

"I'm determined that over the span of the next three years that we can we push for not only finals success, but Championship success in particular. I'm under no illusions about our team's chances and alot of hours on the training court will be needed to ensure that development of our whole group in order to achieve the ultimate team success. This season in particular is about development as we build into year two and year three." added the East Perth leader.

Players interested in attending the trial are encouraged to get in contact by sending an email to coach.forde@gmail.com to register their interest.
