Goldfields Giants announce Silver Lake Resources as new Naming Rights Sponsor

The Goldfields Giants are extremely excited to announce Silver Lake Resources as our new naming rights sponsor for the next three years.

Firstly we would like to acknowledge the SKILLED Group who have been a fantastic partner for the past eight years, making a significant contribution to sport of basketball and the Goldfields community in that time.

Silver Lake Resources Goldfields Giants Chairman, Graham Crew today said "We now move into a new partnership with Silver Lake Resources who as a locally based mining company are right behind the Goldfields community. We look forward to carrying that community spirit through the Goldfields and around the State as we compete in the SBL. Silver Lake resources have been very successful in recent years and we look forward to a successful partnership with them."

Silver Lake Resources' Managing Director, Les Davis said, "Silver Lake Resources is proud to be the major sponsor of the Goldfields Giants Basketball club, a true Kalgoorlie icon. As a locally based company employing over 100 local personnel, we remain committed to the community that we reside in and operate in.

"Silver Lake is an ASX 300 gold producing and exploration company with a resource base of 3.3 million oz in highly prospective regions including the Mount Monger goldfield and the Murchison. Silver Lake's strategy is to develop large production centres at Mount Monger and at the Murchison with multiple mines at each centre."

Silver Lake Resources Goldfields Giants Deputy Chairman & Sponsorship Manager, Scott Manners, has praised Silver Lake Resources for signing up as naming rights sponsor within a week of the SKILLED Group's sponsorship ending. "The partnership with Silver Lake Resources is a mutually beneficial arrangement to further the development of basketball in the Goldfields while at the same time leveraging the Silver Lake Resources brand around the state."
