Mandurah Magic optimistic for 2012 (Sound Telegraph)

Putting an injury stricken 2011 season behind them, the Mandurah Magic’s MSBL’s coach Jason Chalk said the team was in the best condition it had ever been and was hungry for a shot at this year’s championship.

With intense pre-season training underway since October, Chalk is confident his team is a serious contender.

‘‘From October to December we have been focused on running and conditioning, because we aren’t the biggest team, we need to become a running team,’’ he said.
