Slammers invest for success (South Western Times)
The Collie Crane Hire South West Slammers women’s program received a boost this week, the club revealing it had signed two imports.
Ahead of the looming State Basketball League season that will begin next month, the Slammers announced they had secured the services of American duo Valerie Ogoke and Rachele Kloke.
The club had previously moved to distance itself from the idea of signing international imports, instead concentrating on injecting Australian talent into its roster.
