Magic announce scholarship holders

The scholarship program began 4 years ago with the Mandurah Magic men's team and has since expanded to include the women's program. Each year two boys and two girls are selected to train with the SBL teams with the aim to gain valuable experience without the presure of being a contracted SBL player.

All scholarship players recieve training on and off the court, take part in the Mandurah Magic Mentoring Program, sit on the bench during SBL games and attend team meetings and at least one training session per week. They also recieve SBL clothing and training gear as well as access to the gym, pool and basketball courts.

2012 Tanieka House, Taylah Tomlinson, Chad Simpson and Ben Hall have been named and will train with the senior squads with and learn the ropes of SBL.

Well done to all players selected. Scholarship Player profiles are available to be viewed under the SBL drop down menu.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
