The girl with the teeny tiny feet

With small feet and a big heart, new Redbacks WSBL recruit Rachel Watman is hoping her competitive fire will help propel the expereinced Redbacks side into Title contention.

Hailing from Sydney Watman, a 5'8" guard, spent three years at Oral Roberts University where her accolades included MVP of the Summit League Tournament as well as a trip to the fabled NCAA Tournament.

Following two years with the Sydney Uni Flames in the WNBL, Rachel then became a crucial part of the Western Waves campaign in 2010/11 before suffering an Achilles injury. Her recovery has given the Redbacks women and new coach Glenn Ellis the opportunity to match her class with the experience of Narelle Henry and the tenacity of Gabby O'Sullivan, Monique Kickett and the Delcoure sisters in what is sure to be a high-powered backcourt backcourt.

Sure to be a hit among the junior Redback players Rachel brings a positive attitude which will fit in well with the Redback's club values and the immersive experience we are striving to fulfill for all of our junior members.
