SBL Referees receive WNBL Finals
Two State Basketball League referees will be officiating in the Women's National Basketball League finals this weekend.
The SBL would like to congratulate Damian Lyons & David Bull on their appointments in Dandenong & Adelaide respectively.
Both Lyons & Bull are Panel One SBL referees and are also on the Men's & Women's National Panels.
The two officiated the Men's SBL Grand Final last season and are strong assets to the SBL and their appointment highlights the strength of WA referees.
"The SBL has placed a strong emphasis on the development of our referees in the past twelve months" said Competitions Manager Christian Rice.
"All of our National Panel referees and Panel One SBL referees have been a big part of this and we look forward to continuing that development well into the future."
"We wish both referees the best of luck for their games and we look forward to seeing them in the SBL this season."
