Redbacks Gearing up for Season Tip-Off

With a hectic opening schedule - which includes consecutive double headers against returning top-four sides - Head Coaches Glenn Ellis and Dave Harris have a big challenge ahead. At the SBL Pre-season Tournament however, both sides showed a level of class and competitive spirit which will have the league paying attention to see if that form translates to early wins.

A 4-0 record for the men, and a 3-1 record for the women impressed many league observers. And with March 16 fast approaching, both sides are straight back to work over the next fortnight for what is perhaps the toughest opening schedule in the league.

Game one for the new season will be held at the Redbacks home court (Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre) on March 16 against local rivals the Kalamunda Eastern Suns.

Entry prices for 2012 remain unchanged at $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Season Passes, Memberships and Club merchandise will be available at the venue, but don't forget to check out the Redbacks online store to get in early!

Come and join the Redbacks family and help us in making 2012 a memorable season.
