Two players celebrate milestones

Tonight two players will celebrate SBL milestones with both Tegan Walker & Jon Moon hitting 300 and 200 games respectively.

Tegan Walker is suiting up for game number 300 as the Total Connections Perry lakes Hawks host the Kalamunda Eastern Suns tonight at the WA Basketball Centre. 

Walker is in her 16th season in the SBL and is will hit the 300 game mark with the same team she started with back in 1997. 

Since playing five seasons with the Hawks Walker has played for East Perth (2002 - 2004) and also suited up for her home town in Geraldtons four seasons in the SBL. 

The 2003 SBL MVP has played in five SBL Grand Finals, having won two with the Hawks in 1998 & 2001.

Moon will hit the 200 game mark tonight also as the John Hughes Stirling Senators tackle the Peel Finance Rockingham Flames at Warwick Leisure Centre. 

The guard is now in his 12th season of SBL action and has career highs of 12.38 points & 4.6 assists per game. 

Moon started his career with the now defunct Albany Raiders in 1998 & 1999. 

After missing three seasons of SBL action Moon then spent seven seasons with the East Perth Eagles and has been with the Senators since 2010. 

The SBL congratulates both players on their milestones.
