Willetton Tigers aim for top four (Round 15 women's preview)

The Willetton Tigers will be looking to jump back into the top four in week 15 of the women’s State Basketball League with two games against the Wanneroo Wolves and struggling neighbours the Cockburn Cougars.

Wanneroo are now on a four game losing streak and are struggling without WNBL guard Nikita Martin, the Tigers have dropped their last two games and are also without WNBL pair Melissa Marsh and Courtney Hargreaves.

The Tigers will be much more confident when they hit the road to take on neighbouring Cockburn Cougars who despite their win last week are struggling at 3-12.

Last week the Perth Redbacks jumped into second place and they will look to continue their strong form when they play the Perry Lakes Hawks who last week dropped outside of the top eight.

Third place Kalamunda Eastern Suns host bottom of the ladder Mandurah Magic on Saturday night.

While the Suns will be looking for their fifth consecutive win the Magic will be trying to end their seven game losing streak.

On Friday night the seventh place Lakeside Lightning hit the road to play the Cockburn Cougars in a Cougars home game, the Lightning seeking to turn around their three game losing streak.

East Perth Eagles jumped into the top eight after last weekend, however they face a tough double header this weekend when they play the Rockingham Flames and Stirling Senators.

Rockingham are in strong form and will be looking to continue their five game winning streak and continue their climb up the standings.

The Senators on the other hand halted a five game losing streak last weekend and will be confident hitting the road to face the Eagles.
