Slammers face Perth in finals

The Collie Crane Hire South West Slammers women’s side will clash with Perth in the first round of the WSBL play-offs, after going down to Willetton 78-62 on Saturday night.

The Slammers — who had led the competition for much of the year, finished the home-and-away season in third position — a new record for the side.

In the best-of-three quarter finals series, the SouthWest side will travel to take on Perth, who finished sixth, at the Belmont Oasis this Saturday night before a return clash at the Eaton Recreation Centre the following Friday night.
