Casey Ware hits 200 game milestone

The State Basketball League would like to congratulate Rockingham Flames veteran Casey Ware (nee Hagar) on reaching her 200 game milestone last night in the Flames crucial win over Kalamunda Eastern Suns.

Ware is in her eleventh season of SBL, having started playing back in 2001 for Rockingham.

The guard has played nine of her 12 seasons for the Flames, having spent two years in Mandurah (2005/06).

The milestone comes after Ware took 2011 off, giving birth to son Braxton in October.

With the Flames returning to finals action in 2012, Ware will be hoping to guide her side to a grand final spot, having been a runner-up in 2005 & 2006 with the Magic.

The Flames will return to the court tonight, having leveled their quarter finals series 1-1 with Kalamunda. The winner of tonight's game at the Mike Barnett Sports Complex will move on to the semi-finals.
