Top four advance to semi-finals (Men's quarter finals wrap)

The top four teams have all used their home court advantage in the quarter finals to set up thrilling showdowns in the semi-finals of the men's State Basketball League.

An epic overtime clash saw the Eagles take down the Mandurah Magic 93-90 on Friday night, the Eagles started well in front of their home crowd with a 24-11 advantage at the first break.

Mandurah closed the deficit in the fourth quarter to go into overtime, however with Taylor Land and Taylor Mullenax fouling out of the game in the fourth period, the Eagles pulled away to level the series.

Tom Jervis was the standout for East Perth with 27 points and 19 rebounds while experienced guard Joe-Alan Tupaea stood up with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Game three on Saturday night saw East Perth defeat the Magic 94-79 to clinch the series, Eagles guard and former Wildcat Drew Williamson was the star with 31 points and seven rebounds.

It only took two games for the Cockburn Cougars to advance into the semi-finals after defeating the Perth Redbacks 114-79 on Saturday night in the Cougars first home game of finals series.

Jeremiah Wilson (32 points, 15 rebounds) and Brian Carlwell (26 points, 19 rebounds) both had incredible games to lead the Cougars to their second straight semi-finals appearance.

Jarrad Prior fought hard for the Redbacks scoring 29 points and import forward Blake Bender had 21 points and seven rebounds in support.

Wanneroo Wolves also needed just two games to advance to the semi-finals after a convincing 103-69 win over the Kalamunda Eastern Suns.

Damian Matacz continued his outstanding form with 24 points and eight rebounds, while guard Seb Salinas had 21 points in support and Jordan Wild had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The Wolves extended their lead at every break, shooting an impressive 46% from outside the three point line while Kalamunda managed just five per cent from the same distance.

Lakeside Lightning survived a tough game two, managing to pull out a 90-87 victory to take their series with the Goldfields Giants two games to zero.

Lakeside were led to victory by Ben Beran who was a standout with 28 points and 11 rebounds, Luke Payne had 24 points while Jarrad Prue was also dominant with 17 points and 23 rebounds.

Ty Harrelson worked hard for the Giants with 26 points while fellow import Michael Haney finished with 18 points and Lordan Franich pulled down 19 rebounds.

Semi-Final matchups will see the Wanneroo do battle with East Perth and Lakeside tackle cross-town rivals Cockburn.
