Slammers' star shines
The Collie Crane Hire South West Slammers booked their spot in the next round of the play-offs after defeating Perth by 25 points in game two of their WSBL quarter final series on Friday night.
The 73-48 victory at the Eaton Recreation Centre means the Slammers, who also defeated the Redbacks in game one the previous weekend, claimed the best-of-three series 2-0.
They will play reigning champions Willetton in a semi-final series beginning this weekend.
