Eagles Men announced a 27 man squad for 2013

Returning from the 2012 Grand Final squad include team captain and 2012 All Star Team winner Tom Jervis, as well assistant coach/player Joe Tupaea, Jarrod Balcombe, Drew Williamson, Nikola Donlagic, Austin Kisselev and John Taylor. Development squad members returning are Dylan Thompson, Justin Lako and Aaron Doyle. Named but still unconfirmed at this stage are Cameron Cranley and Corey Easley; who are still deciding their future at the club.

Adam Forde returns for his second year as Head Coach, along with Matthew Muir (Assistant Coach), Vaughan Doyle (Team Manager/Assistant Coach) and Ray Edge who is taking over as SBL administrator.

New additions to the 2013 squad include power forward Michael Jones (Stirling) and point guard Elgar Tamsalu (Estonia).

The 2013 rookie class include some of the most talented players in the state for their age group. Brendan Dinardo led the Under 18 WA Metro team to a bronze medal, which Roland Oates also was a reserve player for. Sunday Dech and Oliver Sherratt are currently representing the Under 20s WA team which will be competing in the National Tournament in February. Additionally in the same age group includes Brighton Pass who led the Under 18s WABL in points per game. Andrej Donlagic, younger brother of current squad member Nikola, captained the Under 16s WA team as well as representing Australia all before his 16th birthday.

Pre-season starts January 3rd 2013 as they prepare for a Grand Final rematch in round 1 of the SBL against the Cockburn Cougars.
