Three teams remain undefeated (Week Three Men's Wrap)

Only three teams remain undefeated after three rounds of the 2013 Men’s State Basketball League in what shapes as another unpredictable season.

Lakeside (4-0), Perry Lakes (4-0) and East Perth (3-0) lead the way, while Kalamunda (0-4) and Rockingham (0-3) have struggled early in the season.

The Easter round started way back on Thursday, with Lakeside racking up a fourth consecutive win in impressive fashion, beating Willetton 111-85 on the road.

Darrel Morgan (22 points) and Ben Beran (21) led the scoring , while Jarrad Prue grabbed 19 rebounds to go with his eight points in a dominant display.

Lakeside held a slim advantage at three-quarter time before pulling away in the final period.

Elsewhere on Thursday, East Perth made it three wins from as many starts with a 113-72 win over struggling Stirling and South West Slammers edged out Mandurah 103-100 in a double-overtime thriller.

Jamahr Warren top-scored for the Slammers with a round-high 35 points, while Taylor Mullenax (31 points) continued his strong start to the season for the Magic.

Saturday saw Perry Lakes join Lakeside at the top with their fourth win in a row, knocking off winless Rockingham 132-95 on the road.

The Hawks scored 30 or more points in every quarter and cruised to victory despite head coach Shawn Dennis handing the reigns to assistant Charles Nix for the night.

Dennis, who doubles as a Perth Wildcats assistant, was interstate on national league duties as the Wildcats took on Wollongong in the semi-finals.

Geraldton caught up to Goldfields and levelled their season record at 2-2 after a slow start by beating their country rivals 83-77 at home, while Wanneroo handed Perth Redbacks their first loss of the season with a 106-90 triumph at Belmont.

Kalamunda are rooted to the foot of the ladder with four losses in as many games following their 116-80 loss to reigning champions Cockburn.
