Week Four Player of the Week

Southlands Boulevarde Willetton Tigers star import Quinn Mc Dowell has taken out the week four Men's Player of the Week award after his impressive performance last weekend. 

Mc Dowell guided his side to a 104-96 victory in Kalgoorlie over the Silver Lakes Resources Goldfields Giants with 36 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. 

Geraldton veteran Mark Heron (10 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists) and Wanneroo youngster Trian Iliadis (17 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists) both had strong claims to the weekly honours with triple-doubles in their sides victories. 

Also in strong contention was Stirling Senators import Jordan Wild who guided his side to an upset victory over the Perth Redbacks with 26 points and 11 rebounds. 

Others in consideration were Ben Purser (Perry Lakes), Gavin Field (Cockburn), Joel Wagner (Perth), Steve Weingarten (Goldfields), Drew Williamson (East Perth), Tom Jervis (East Perth), Clive Weeden (South West), Ty Harrelson (South West), Taylor Mullenax (Mandurah), Cooper Land (Rockingham), Ben Beran (Lakeside) and Michael Vigor (Perth). 

BOQ Perth Redbacks forward Marita Payne claimed the Women's award with two impressive performances as her side split their weekend with a win over Stirling and a one point loss to the Lakeside Lightning. 

Payne put up 18 point and 13 rebounds against Stirling and backed that up with 16 points and 20 rebounds against Lakeside. 

East Perth guard Nicolle Jorre St Jorre (20 points, 6 rebounds) and Lightning import Krystle Stoneking (26 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists) were both in close consideration after impressive performances in their sides victories over South West and Perth respectively. 

Others in consideration were Belinda Mayger (Perry Lakes), Emma Pass (Cockburn), Amber Land (Stirling), Stephanie Jones (Cockburn), Casey Lockwood (Wanneroo), Lauren Jeffers (South West), Casey Mihivolovich (Mandurah) and Kaye Tucker (Rockingham).
