Reigning champions South West Slammers will be looking to improve on their current record when they host fellow mid-table side Lakeside.
The Slammers have started their title defence slowly, with a 2-3 record seeing them occupy eighth place on the ladder heading into round six.
Fifth-placed Rockingham take on third-placed Cockburn in a battle between two teams with 3-2 records.
Beaten grand finalists last year, the Flames have won their past three games to shoot up the ladder and will be eager to protect their home court.
The early season statistics suggest high-flying Willetton will be hot favourites to take care of last-placed East Perth at home.
The Tigers sit second on the ladder with a 4-1 record and boast the league’s most potent offence, which averages 71.2 points a game.
Conversely, the Eagles average just 47.0 points a game as the league’s lowest scoring team.
On Saturday, unbeaten Wanneroo will hope they meet a tired South West side forced to back up from the previous night’s game.
Willetton and Cockburn are also putting in double shifts this week and meet at Wally Hagan Stadium on Saturday, while Rockingham back up against Stirling.
Top-eight rivals Mandurah and Kalamunda will be hoping to stay in touch with the top sides with victory in their clash on Saturday.
