Kickz101 Perth' Newcomer's of the Week

The week seven ‘Kickz101 Perth’ Men’s Newcomer of the week has been awarded to the Australian Belt Scrapers Wanneroo Wolves forward Robert Huntington.

The 22 year old Huntington was impressive for Wanneroo over the weekend finishing with 49 points, 18 rebounds & 2 assists over 61 minutes in two games. Huntington was effective on the scoreboard by shooting 65% from the field draining 19 from 29 to lead his team in scoring for both games.

Other considerations for the award included Caleb Davis (Stirling), Hayden Bell (Lakeside), Nikolas Iliadis (Stirling) & Hayden Noordhoek (Willetton).

In the Women’s competitions, Mandurah Magic’s Rachel Halleen has been awarded the Week Seven Women’s ‘Kickz101 Perth’ Newcomer of the Week.

Halleen put in a strong showing for Mandurah in Friday night’s narrow loss to Cockburn, finishing with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

Other considerations for the award included; Gabriella Clayton (Perry Lakes) & Adrienne Jones (Kalamunda).

Both Huntington and Halleen are now in contention for the monthly award where the winner of a facebook poll receives a pair of shoes of their choice thanks to Kickz101 Perth.
