Congratulations Thomas Remmerswaal - 200 SBL Games
Mandurah Magic forward Thomas Remmerswaal has notched up 200 games in the SBL.
The milestone presentation will take place tonight at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre when the Magic take on the Lightning in what is set to be a blockbuster clash.
Tom's SBL career started as a sixteen-year-old with the Magic in 2002, before moving to the South West Slammers for one season in 2005.
Remmerswaal signed with SEABL club the Albury-Wodonga Bandits for 2006 and 2007 before returning to WA to sign back with his home town club, Mandurah Magic, in 2008 and has continued with the team since.
Remmerswaal's career best season came in 2012 when he averaged 22.86 points per game and 8.9 rebounds per game, leading Mandurah to the men's SBL semi-finals.
News of Tom's announcement that he was retiring from the SBL at the end of the 2012 season due to injury, was a shock to the SBL community with Magic fan's were left wondering if they could replace the void left behind by the 199cm forward.
In an inspirational display of resilience, Remmerswaal has recently come out of retirement, suiting up for the Mandurah Magic in 2013.
Magic fans will be hoping he can reignite the form showed in 2012 to help the club push deep in the 2013 finals.
The State Basketball League would like to wish Tom all the best in his return to the SBL and congratulate him on an outstanding 200 SBL game milestone.
