VERDICT

Both teams have had a great season and are worthy Grand Finalists. The last time the two teams met, just over two months ago at the Furnace, the Suns controlled the game and lead for the majority before being pipped at the end, and if that game is anything to go by, this game should provide an excellent and fitting finish to a wonderful WSBL season.  Jennie Rintala, Melissa Moyle and Captain Ajay Jones are in excellent form but the spread across the team for the Suns has been a real positive. For the Wolves, the lure of claiming both WSBL and MSBL championships in the same season is a very real possibility and lead by Shani Amos and Nikita Martin and Casey Lockwood the Wolves will fancy the double! A month ago I made the call that the Suns were the dark-horse heading into the play-offs and I’m going to back that call by predicting the Suns to claim a maiden, franchise, championship and win it by 7.
