Hawks re-appoint Nix & Jackson as SBL coaches

Charles Nix and CJ (Craig) Jackson have both been re-appointed as State League coaches for the 2014-2015 seasons.

CJ took over the Lady Hawks in 2013 and guided this young group through the season, just missing out on the playoffs.  With injury to Bec Boyanich, Bea Mayger's retirement due to her pregnancy and Nat Burton's call up to the Opals, the team had a tough ask for the second part of the season, without 3 of their starting 5 being able to hit the floor.

With a another year under their belt we all look forward to the Lady Hawks climbing up the ladder and making a strong bid for the playoffs.

Charles Nix took over the reins mid 2013 after Shawn Dennis's departure to Townsville Crocs and guided the team to finish the regular season in second spot. They just missed out on a Grand Final berth after losing to Wolves in the semis.

The Hawks look forward to the 2014 SBL season and wish both coaches & teams every success for the new season.
