Spalding announced as new basketball partner
Basketball WA is pleased to announce that it has signed on to a new national deal that will see Spalding become the basketball supplier for all Basketball WA competitions.
In 2014 the State Basketball League (SBL) and Western Australian Basketball League (WABL) will both use Spalding basketballs. The SBL will use the highest quality Spalding basketball, the “Top Flight-1000 Legacy” while the WABL competition will be releasing information shortly on an alternative basketball.
Spalding is currently the basketball supplier for Basketball Australia competitions (WNBL and Australian Junior Championships) and the NBL.
Spalding is also the basketball used in the highest profile basketball competition in the world, the NBA.
Basketball WA affiliated associations will also have access to the Spalding Top-Flight range at a discounted price when purchasing through Basketball WA.
The new relationship with Spalding commenced on November 1 with all Basketball WA competitions transitioning to the new basketballs immediately.
