SBL Referees Appointed to WNBL Finals
Two SBL referees were recently appointed to officiate in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) finals series.
Long serving senior officials David Bull and Damian Lyons were rewarded again for their strong performances on the national stage, after both received finals appointments in 2013.
Bull refereed the Bendigo vs. Townsville major semi-final to determine who would host the WNBL Grand Final.
Lyons was appointed to both the elimination semi-final between Dandenong and Melbourne and also was the lead official in the WNBL Grand Final.
Congratulations to both David and Damian on their appointments. Both senior SBL officials will be back officiating in the SBL in 2014.
