Congratulations Chelsea Armstrong - 200 SBL Games

Kalamunda Eastern Suns guard Chelsea Armstrong will this Saturday night play her 200th SBL game in front of her home crowd at Ray Owen Sports Centre.

When asked about Chelsea, Assistant Coach Shaun Alva responded, "Chelsea is an all round nice girl who has been a pleasure to coach, she is one of the hardest workers both at training and on the court which has allowed her to add more strings to her bow as a player".

"In my opinion she is one of the better defenders in the league and is currently having one of her most consistent seasons to date both offensively and defensively. She is a girl with a very good character and has played an integral role in building the culture at the Eastern Suns".

Since moving to Kalamunda in 2010 after four seasons with the Wolves, Chelsea has been a captain of the club and played over 100 games for the Eastern Suns.

On behalf of the State Basketball League we would like to congratulate Chelsea on 200 SBL games and wish her all the best as she takes on the Perry Lakes Hawks this Saturday night.
