Loyal Hawk, Chelsea Boyanich joins 300 game club
On Saturday night, Perry Lakes Hawks star Chelsea Boyanich will reach the rare milestone of 300 SBL games with a single club.
Boyanich made her SBL debut for the Hawks in 2001 and has stayed loyal to the club playing every season since.
"Chelsea has been part of the great times at Perry Lakes, winning one championship is hard, but to win five as Chelsea has done, thats just crazy!" said head coach CJ Jackson.
"We are so pleased for Chelsea reaching her 300 game milestone and wish her all the success".
Boyanich at only 28 years old is one of the more senior members of the young Hawks squad and currently holds the vice-captaincy at the club.
On behalf of the State Basketball League we would like to congratulate Chelsea on 300 SBL games.
The Perry Lakes Hawks will hold a milestone celebration for Chelsea on July 4 at the WABC.
