John Taylor reaches 250

East Perth Eagles guard John Taylor is set to play his 250th SBL game this weekend in front of his home crowd at at the Morley Recreation Centre.

Since commencing his SBL career in 2004, Taylor has stayed loyal to his club playing eleven seasons and all 250 games with the East Perth Eagles.

When asked about the player John Taylor, head coach Adam Forde replied "I can’t thank JT enough for his service both on and off the court. To register all of his 250 games at one club is an amazing accomplishment".

"JT has been a massive part of the teams success with his leadership and willingness to put the team ahead of himself. A former team MVP, JT has shown his work ethic and loyalty during the lean years and played a massive part in helping the team to a 2012 grand final".

SBL Commissioner Kevin Wigg will make a presentation on behalf of the league on Saturday night prior to tip-off of the Men's game at Morley Rec Centre.

On behalf of the State Basketball League, we would like to wish John Taylor all the best in his 250th game this weekend.
