Tupaea to miss game one

East Perth Eagles veteran point guard Joe-Alan Tupaea has been suspended by the BWA Tribunal for two weeks, ruling him out for game one of the SBL Quarter Finals.

An appeals tribunal was held by Basketball WA on Monday night after the East Perth Districts Basketball Association lodged an appeal to the original three week suspension given to Tupaea.

Tupaea was found guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct during the SBL game between the East Perth Eagles and Perth Redbacks on July 19 at Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre.

The suspension now means Tupaea, who has already missed the final round of the SBL will also miss game one of the Quarter Finals on Friday night when the East Perth Eagles take on the Rockingham Flames at Morley Sport & Recreation Centre.
