Kickz101 SBL Players of the Week

The week twenty “Kickz101 Perth” Men’s SBL Player of the Week has been awarded to Damien Scott of the Raw Nutrition Cockburn Cougars.

The Cockburn Cougars would be disappointed after missing the playoffs this year, however the individual seasons of their two local players Damien Scott and Gavin Field have been outstanding with both now considered in the league’s elite.

Damien Scott topped off his season with a stunning display on Saturday night at Wally Hagan Stadium against SBL finalists the East Perth Eagles in the last game of the season.

Scott had the hot hand by knocking down six three’s to contribute to his game high 47 points to go with 4 rebounds and 4 assists as the Cougars upset the Eagles 109 to 103.

This season Scott has put up numbers which must have him in all-star consideration averaging 22.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while shooting 44.5% from the field.

As a current Perth Wildcats development player expect to see Scott take his game to yet another level in 2015.
