Steve Butler reaches 300
Steve Butler of the Lakeside Lightning will tonight play his 300th SBL game in front of his home crowd at the Lakeside Recreation Centre.
Butlers career stems back to 2002 where he made his debut for the Lakeside Lightning. He went on to play six seasons with the club before moving to the Wolves in 2008. After one season, Butler returned to the Lightning where he has played in all but one season in 2012.
Butler has four SBL Championships next to his name winning with the Lightning in 05', 06', 09' and 13' under head coach Andy Stewart.
