Magic Night for Milestones
It's a big night for the Mandurah Magic with three milestone presentations all taking place before the WSBL match-up with the East Perth Eagles at 6:30pm.
Gemma Thomas has reached her 250 SBL game milestone which stems from a career that started back in 1996 with the Magic.
After 15 seasons in the SBL, tonight Gemma will be presented with a milestone award in front of her home crowd at the MARC.
Rachel Halleen tonight plays in her 200th SBL game, all have which have been with the Mandurah Magic.
Rachel's SBL career started in 2006 with Mandurah playing just 4 games in her first season. Rachel has now developed into a valuable member of the Magic team and tonight reaches 200 games.
Both Gemma and Rachel were both members of the Mandurah Magic team who came runners up in the 2006 and 2009 Grand Finals, with Gemma also part of the 03' and 05' team who finished one game short of a WSBL Championship.
Shelly Boston will also be recognised tonight in front of her home crowd for her amazing milestone of 400 SBL games which was reached during their recent run of road trips.
Shelly now joins Sue Williams, Tracey Richter and Tanya Kelly as the only women who have reached the 400 SBL game milestone.
On behalf of the SBL we would like to congratulate Gemma, Rachel and Shelly on their milestones and wish them all the best tonight in their games.
