Mandurah Basketball Association are pleased to announce the signing of 6’8 swingman Trevor Setty,

Trevor will be a huge boost to our SBL team with his long range shooting, ball handling and his ability to use his length to rebound, score inside and defend.

Trevor has been playing since he was 5 years old and has had a lot of success along the way.  He won a high school state championship in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and a National Championship for the University of Pikeville, also winning MVP of the tournament. Trevor played in England for 2 seasons and toured in Italy this past summer. He has received countless awards with his favourite being state of Kentucky's "teammate of the year" in 2008.

Head coach Jason Kyle is excited for Trevors arrival and believes that he will be a great fit for the team and that his strong work ethic will be an asset, and a positive influence for the team

Away from playing Trevor will also help in the development portfolio alongside Development officer Blake.  Trevor will be involved in the Magic  afternoon skills sessions and heading out to our In school clinics.  Trevor has coached multiple teams and is currently volunteering his time to help with underprivileged youth.  Trevor will be a huge asset around the association.

Trevor is very personable and confident, he understands our association values and is committed to being a positive role model within our club and greater community. The aim of bringing Trevor to Mandurah is to entertain, inspire and teach young athletes, the benefits of having Trevor around will span from right through from SBL, WABL, the domestic competition , right through to our new starters in our ongoing skills sessions. Away from basketball Trevor has a passion for music, film, and the arts, he loves the outdoors, reading and fashion.
