Johnson Suspended for One Game

Willetton's starting center Joshua Johnson has been suspended for one game by the BWA tribunal and will miss Saturday's crucial match up with the Perth Redbacks.

Johnson pleaded guilty to pushing Wolves player Rob Huntington in Friday nights game and was also found guilty of disputing decisions and engaging in conduct likely to bring the game into disrepute.

The suspension is a massive blow for the Tigers as they come up against an in form Perth Redbacks on Saturday night who are on a five game win streak and posses a formidable front court consisting of Lewis Thomas & Michael Vigor.

The Tigers will need import Charles Funches to step up in Johnson's absence as he is expected to be promoted to the starting line-up for Saturday nights game.

Johnson is expected to return to the line-up on Sunday when the Tigers face the Giants and Willetton Basketball Stadium.
