Epps Cleared to Play

Southlands Boulevarde Willetton Tigers 3rd time American import Robert Epps has been cleared and will take the court for his first game this season on Saturday night (March 28th) when we take on the undefeated Australian Central Eagles.

Epps started with the Tigers in 2007 and has played 52 games with the team and averages 25 points, 10.8 rebounds & 2.8 assists over his SBL career. Epps has been held up by the Immigration Department and only yesterday received his clearance to play. The Tigers will be adding a second import to their roster shortly with the arrival of a & 7"2 European player.

The Tigers are struggling so far this season with a 0-4 start to the season after making the grand final in 2008. However without any imports they are one of the youngest teams in the league.

The Womens game tips off at 6:00pm and the Men at 8:00pm at Willetton Basketball Stadium.
