Wildcats Appoint SBL Media Officer

The Perth Wildcats today appointed Cameron Wong as the club's new SBL and Community Basketball Media Officer.

Cameron will be responsible for reporting on all SBL games, news and events for the Wildcats website and NBL website. He will also report on other basketball activity within the state.

Mr Wong is in the final stages of completing a media and public relations degree at the University of Notre Dame. He recently completed an internship with the Perth Wildcats through the club's University Sports Internships Program.

Cameron is another young West Australian tertiary student that we've had the pleasure of working with through our internship program and has progressed to a more formal role with the club, CEO Nick Marvin said. We hope we can give more university students career pathways in sport.
