'Great Dane' already making a big impact

The 'Great Dane', as he is aptly nicknamed, has notched 44 points in his first two outings with his new team. He scored 16 in his first match against Wanneroo, just five hours after stepping off a long flight from Europe.
He backed up with 28 points, 20 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks the night after in the side's away win against the Rockingham Flames.
The big centre is fresh from success in Denmark, winning a championship with the Bakken Bears a fortnight ago. He stopped short of committing beyond this season and has taken a wait-and-see approach. "I'll take one thing at a time."
He has spent the last two years in the Danish league, as well as stints in Greece, Italy and the US.
