Carly Wilson Back in Perth
It might not be long until we see Australian star Carly Wilson back on the basketball court.
Carly has just returned from Europe this week after playing there for 9 months.
“All you do in Europe is eat, sleep and breathe basketball, training twice a day is full on.” Carly said.
After speaking to her at the women’s SBL game on Saturday night at Morley Recreation Centre Carly said she has no idea what is happening and she is taking one thing at a time. With a holiday planned in a few weeks time Carly is leaving all decisions till after.
Watching the Stirling girls play brought a lot of memories back and definitely got her itching to play again in Perth.
“We will just have to wait and see, I am weighing up whether I want to go back to Europe. Unfortunately Europe is feeling the economic crisis too so sponsors aren’t the strongest thing. I certainly don’t want to leave Perth but I may have to be an option. Perth is home.”
With a sense of home in Perth for Carly we may see her putting her shoes back on to hit that court, but we will have to wait and see how it all turns out.
