The action is as tight as it has ever been in the SBL and we have all of the previews right here at SBL.asn.au as we head into the final round of competition. 

The WSBL Competition has all eight final teams locked away with East Perth not having the head to head advantage over their counterparts Wanneroo. 

However positions 3 to 8 can all change depending upon results.

The Men's competition has all positions 1 through to 10 up for grabs which makes for an extremely interesting last round.

Both Goldfields & Geraldton finish off at home with the Buccs in a crucial game against the third placed Cougars. The Buccs just a few weeks ago were 17-3 with everything looking strong. However after a five game slide they sit in fourth place at 17-8 and could drop as low as 6th with a loss this weekend. The Giants are on a mission to take top spot and can do it with a win over the Giants, however they must rely on the Lightning losing to the Eagles too.

Now the interesting scenarios, all teams from 7 through to 10 can take the last two playoff sports! Stirling are in the best position with two games to spare and in 7th spot with a 11-13 record. However the Senators face off against the Hawks at home and the Redbacks on the road.

The Redbacks will be ruing missed opportunities with several games where they have been up by double figures in the last quarter only to drop the game, the last game against Stirling being one of them. All could come back to be crucial if they miss the finals with a loss or Stirling win on Friday night.

Potentially there could be a log jam at both ends on Saturday night with Geraldton, Wanneroo & Perry Lakes all potentially ending on 17-9 records. At the other end of the table four teams could finish with 11-15 records meaning percentage will be crucial.

What ever happens this weekend is sure to be one of the most exciting finishes to the SBL in recent seasons.
