The 2009 SBL All Star Teams were announced over the SBL Grand Final weekend for both Women's and Men's Competitions.
The WSBL All Star Team for 2009 was:
Point Guard - Kate Malpass (Willetton Tigers)
Shooting Guard - Natalie Young (Lakeside Lightning)
Small Forward - Deanna Smith (Perry Lakes Hawks)
Power Forward - Ashley Gilmore (Willetton TIgers)
Centre - Shelley Boston (Mandurah Magic)
The MSBL All Star Team for 2009 was:
Point Guard - Shamus Ballantyne (Goldfields Giants)
Shooting Guard - Luke Payne (Lakeside Lightning)
Small Forward - Luke Meyer (Geraldton Buccaneers)
Power Forward - Adrian Majstrovich (Kalamunda Eastern Suns)
Centre - Jarrad Prue (Lakeside Lightning)
The All Star teams are voted on by coaches of the 26 SBL Teams at the conclusion of the SBL Regular Season.
The State Basketball League congratulates all players on making the All Star Teams for 2009.
