PRESENTAION NIGHT A HUGE SUCCESS

First of all thank you to Jo Hicks for putting the night together.

117 people turned out to celebrate a magnificent 2011 Representative and domestic season. Mayor Phill Silver attended and gave us an update on the Indoor Sporting facilities for Ballina.

Congratulations to all those who won awards and were lucky enough to be presented with them by Gold Coast Blaze players James Harvey and Chris Golding. Brilliant just having them with us, for the evening festivities it was a huge buzz for everyone. Lots of photo’s being taken.

A great night was had by all, the cake was delicious Steve and the music wonderful Kayanne.

Thank you to all the committee, players, referees, parents, partners, spectators and everyone that has supported us throughout 2011.

Don't forget our School holidays camp, if we do not get numbers by Friday it may be cancelled so get in fast.  Second Family member half price.  All welcome

BALLINA BRING HOME TWO NJL TITLES

Taking Instruction

Under 14’s Men and Under 16’swin NJL Titles.

Ballina Northern Junior League travelled to Tamworth this weekend with FOUR teams completing in the finals weekend. U12, U14, U16 and U18 men teams all finished in the top four teams in their division. A truly brilliant effort by all teams involved for an association the only operates from a one court high school gym.  Fantastic effort and congregation to all players who completed.  Well Done Click Here For Photos.

ODD AGE CARNIVALS GRAFTON and COFFS HARBOUR

Modest Champions

If you are interested in playing in the Odd Age Carnivals for 2011 please make sure you let someone at the stadium know of your intentions. Try outs and training will begin for these carnivals on the week commencing the 15th August.  Grafton will be held on 26th and 27th November and Coffs Harbour has not yet set dates, this carnival is usually held first or second weekend of December.

The Odd Age carnival, assist in the setting up a basis for NJL representative teams for the 2012 season and will give an excellent indication as to which division Ballina Association will commit to.  There will be a sheet at the canteen for you to add your name to the team tryout list and you will have to have your parent’s permission and they will have to sign on your behalf.

We have this year had great managers for all teams and if you are interested in taking on any position please indicate your interest to Steve McCarthy at the desk on Tuesday afternoons.
