Please note that the round times are later this week due to the Primary Netball Fun Day and Prizegiving being held immediately prior to the Senior Competition. 

 

Round times are 6pm,7pm, and 8pm. Please make sure your umpires are aware of the later start time.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL TEAMS:  

 

Change in Round times:  due to the Primary Netball Fun Day and Prizegiving being held immediately before Senior Netball, the round times will be 6pm,7pm, and 8pm .  So please make sure that your team members and team umpires are aware of this especially if they are involved in teams that play at Headon Stadium, as there is only 13mins between rounds and that means that they have 13mins to get from there to Headon Stadium and vice versa.

 

​​​​​​​Casual / Borrowed Player clarification. 

 

A Casual or Borrowed player must be recorded on the team sheet PRIOR to the team taking the court.  If the player is a Casual player the fee of $5 must also be paid at the same time they are recorded on the team sheet (prior to the team taking the court)

 

There is no exception for this rule so it is advisable that teams are prepared prior to taking the court.

 

Umpire Duty: 

 

if a team umpire is to be changed then this MUST be notified to mncumpire@gmail no later than 5pm Monday of each week.  If your team is changing umpires, please ensure that the new Umpire is confident to do so.

 

Team sheets are to be filled in at least 10mins before the start of your game

Any changes to the team sheet need to be emailed prior to 4pm on Tuesday night to the registrations officer please gillylind@yahoo.com  

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Teams, can you please send the message to your team members /supporters that they are not to park across driveways of the houses around the netball courts.  Those that do will be taking the risk that their cars will be towed.

Set up duty:  please get the senior goal pads (red New World ) from store room and place them on the goal posts.  Please check that the goals are facing the courts, as Primary netball is being held prior to senior competition and some courts may have had the shorter goals on them.

Outside Pavilion: duty team is to check courts and areas surrounding the pavilion for rubbish and lost property.  Return the rubbish bins to the fence by the entry gate. Check the round coloured bins and if they have been used please empty these into the wheelie bins.

Inside Pavilion:  please sweep all floors; main room, entrance, hall and both toilets. Please clean toilets including the disabled toilet (located by the main entrance), toilet floors are to be mopped. Empty rubbish bins into the wheelie bins, and replace rubbish bag.

Teams with Boys: 

Intermediate teams (Yr 7 & 8) - there can only be three boys on court at any given time, and they cannot start the game in the same third. 

College teams (Yr 9 - 13) - there can only be two boys on court at any given time, and they cannot start the game in the same third. 

For grading games only and following the rules above, boys must be played for the full duration of both games. This is so that MNC can gauge the strength of the team with them on court, in order to allocate the team to a fair grade.

Information for teams

0 Tolerance: MNC has a 0 tolerance of abuse to umpires, scorers, players, and spectators. Please be aware that an umpire or a MNC official has the right to ask any person who they believe is acting inappropriate to leave the court area.

Scorer duty:Teams are to provided a scorer for their own game. The Scorer is to make themselves known to the Umpires and stand where the Umpires direct them to and not move, as the umpires will need to know where you are at all times during the game. Please refrain from having friends with you and the use of cell phones while scoring.

Team Sheets:  MNC ask teams to fill in their team sheets during the round before they play, and not in between rounds to help reduce congestion at the Score Card control Box. Team sheets for the first round will be available at 5.10pm.

Umpire: ALL teams College and above will be required to have named 2 Umpires, at least one of these named Umpires will be named on the draw. All Umpires will receive $$ which must be collected after the game and from the Score Box. (please refer to the 'Senior Netball IMPORTANT Information 2021' and the '2021 Umpire payment System' which can be found under 'Umpire - 2021 Umpire Information)

Umpire duty: Once an umpire begins the game they must remain for the full duration of the game (they cannot be replaced) Please check where your teams named Umpire/s is umpiring. If umpiring in the first round please arrive at least 10mins before the game, all other rounds please make your way to your designated court as quickly as possible after your game has been played, to ensure you are there at least 5mins before the start of the game.

Important:  Penalties will be applied if a team does not complete the Umpire Duty (please refer to the Senior Rego Pack 2021)
